TOMMY TASTER: Tommy Novak will perform at an appetiser for the Granite Town festival.
If you are already missing Granite Town, this year’s festival is offering a preview next month.
The Sandbar event on Sunday, April 5 is an appetiser for the Moruya’s Festival of Jazz, Funk and Food in spring.
Granite Town President Jeff Afflick said LJ Hooker Moruya had agreed to sponsor the taster, a pop-up bar at low tide on the Moruya River.
“The Sandbar is the first in a series of events that will lead up to the festival,” Mr Afflick said.
“It will capitalise on Moruya’s greatest assets – our history, our river, our food, great music and our fantastic community.
“After being ferried out on the river, guests will enjoy fresh local oysters, gourmet canapés, drinks, and live music.”
Malua Bay-born artist Tommy Novak will perform.
“Tommy sings and plays with unreserved emotion making full use of a voice reminiscent of Roy Orbison,” Mr Afflick said.
“He will be supported by the highly talented jazz and Latin instrumentalist, Matt Fraser.”
Whether it’s enjoying local delicacies, sipping a glass of something in a unique location or listening to live music, this event is sure to entertain.
Tickets are $66.
Limited tickets are on sale at Firefly Interiors, Moruya. Email [email protected]南京夜网.au or phone 4474 0449.
